plaid & fur

This is a good definition of my comfy + cute outfit.  I wore this outfit to dinner with friends a couple of nights ago (but no pictures were taken, so it's like it never happened).  For this afternoon, when we went sight seeing in Spokane, I  wore my new fur vest from Brina Box!  It is the perfect vest to throw over any outfit that needs an extra push to make it look 100%!  

I have never worn a printed t -shirt underneath a button - up plaid shirt, so this is me taking a little fashion risk with trying new styles! What does everyone think of it? Would you try it out?!

This weekend, I was blessed to get a visit from my little sister.  We went down town to Spokane River Front to walk around & eat lunch & shop some!  I am so excited to show Brooke around this town & share some quality sister time together

One day last week, Old Navy had one of their insane deals .. $19 for jeans! Of course I had to stop by to see if I "really" needed another pair of jeans.  The answer was YES; I found these black Rockstar jeans & they are the perfect fit.  These jeans are tight enough to wear loose shirts with on comfy days & they are just comfortable to wear on any given day. 

Anyways, I was online window shopping a couple of weeks ago at J.Crew Factory & stumbled across this vest.  It is the perfect layering piece that I need with most of my clothes now that I live in 25 degree weather.  This is how I justify all of my clothing purchases now a day, "I need this (enter in any piece of clothing) because I have to wear more layers & I am cold all the time."  I always talk myself into buying it 95% of the time.

Once I found this sweatshirt in Forever 21 on clearance for $7, I had to snatch it up! This outfit is made for comfy days for running errands or doing laundry in my case.  However, I do have 4 shirts on & 2 pair of leggings on to keep me warm from this crazy cold in Washington.  Plus this jacket is a steal from Old Navy, I purchased this back in Jacksonville for $40, but it was to small so I returned it.  But here in Washington, I found it on the clearance rack, in the size I needed, for ... wait for it... $17!
