Road Trip | Seattle, Washington

For the past week, I have been away from the computer due to a recent road trip we took down the west coast.

|We had a delicious dinner at Chinook's on Saturday night.  Fresh seafood & an awesome view of the water, what more could you ask for|

We had the best time in this beautiful city.  From delicious food, hot coffee from any Starbucks in the city ( there are around 450 Starbucks just in Seattle), & the beautiful views from everywhere in the city.  Seattle is a city full of walking, so don't make the mistake like I did & wear cute booties.  Just go ahead and bring your cute pair of Keds' so you will be able to enjoy all the views of the city.  Seattle is a city to visit if you are ever on the west coast.  Pike Place, the Space Needle, the first Starbucks, & ferry boats are the best things to visit when you are here!

In a week, Cody, myself, & one of his best friends will be heading on a road trip down the west coast! Our stops include: Seattle, Portland, Redwood National Forest, Napa Valley, & San Francisco.  I am so excited about completing a road trip because I have never actually been on a "real long road trip", the longest I have ever ridden in a car is like 5 hours.  So, this could be a struggle for me.

First Things First 
I will be the only girl on this awesome road trip, so my "primping time" will be around 30 minutes, tops.  To make my "primping time" easier for myself & for the guys, I plan on packing the essentials & basics.  I am challenging myself to pack all my essentials in a carry on suitcase, to re-wear outfits but with different ways, & to utilize my accessories in a fun way!

Pictured above are a few of the essentials that I plan on packing on our road trip.
1. Boyfriend Jeans - Oh YES, this is a definite yes.
2. Grey Tank/ T- Shirt - I plan on wearing these with yoga pants when we hike, & with a dark pair of skinny jeans for a night out on the town!
3. Leather Jacket - The perfect essential for any cold nights!

I am super pumped to keep everybody updated on our fun adventure, it begins soon & I will be posting pictures on Instagram, so don't forget to follow along!

My vacation is officially over, enter the sad faces now.  No more dressing cute every day, now I am back to the red t-shirts & the khaki pants. 

Cody, myself, & his parents went to the fun town of Coeur d' Alene, Idaho for the night.  It was a fun afternoon of walking along the lake, relaxing in the condo listening to the rain fall, & eating dinner at an Brazilian restaurant, which was delicious!! 

I just can't get over how beautiful it is in the Northwest!

For the weekend, we visited Leavenworth, Washington.  This small town is a German themed town & has the tastiest beer, delicious food, & the best views.  Plus, to make things even better, Cody's parents are in town visiting us & got to make the fun trip out to Leavenworth! We also got to meet up with Cody's uncle out there, so it was fun family trip! 

My post for today is mainly for the awesome views & not so much of my outfit.  So enjoy the beautiful mountain views & my alright ootd post.

I don't have a ton to say for this post.  This is the definition of a very lazy basic outfit.  Cozy cardigan, boyfriend jeans, & a cute necklace to make it look some what .. ya know, cute.

Main point of this post is.. I can finally wear sandals!  My feet have never been happier & the weather is suppose to hit 70 degrees this week.  Let's just say I might have to go shopping for some shorts & a nice tan this week.
